"Yay! It's Christmas!", that's my expression every time the month of December comes. It's also my favorite holiday season. Every time I think the word "Christmas, it comes out of my mind that it's about giving and sharing of blessings he gave us this year and giving love to those who need to be loved.
Christmas or Christmas Day, also called as Noel or the Feast of the Nativity is an yearly commemoration of the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. It is celebrated generally on December 25 as a cultural and religious holiday by billions of people around the world.
Many of the popular celebrations that we celebrations that we have done during Christmas are gift-giving, hanging of Christmas stocking in our doors, playing Christmas Music, caroling, exchanging of Christmas gift and cards, church celebrations or in Filipino, it is called as "Simbang Gabi", a special meal and various desserts or Noche Buena, display of various decorations like Christmas trees, Christmas lights, garlands and wreaths, mistletoe, nativity scenes, Advent calendars and candles. And last but not the least, Santa Claus or Father Christmas or Saint Nicholas.
